Zurvo
Installing on Your Site

Confirm the widget is loading on your site.

After installing, verify the Zurvo widget is live — check the install status indicator, load your site, and know what to try if the launcher doesn't appear.

Once you’ve pasted the snippet in, take a minute to confirm the widget is actually live. There are two quick ways to check.

Check the install status indicator

Open your Install page. Near the top is an install status indicator that reflects whether Zurvo has seen the widget load on your site:

  • Green — the widget was detected on your site, with the host it saw and how recently.
  • Amber — it was installed before, but hasn’t been seen recently.
  • Neutral (“Not detected yet”) — no load has been recorded. Install the snippet, then load your site once.

After you install, open your live site in a normal browser tab so the widget loads at least once, then return to the Install page and refresh — the indicator should turn green.

Load your site and look for the launcher

Open your live site (a private/incognito window avoids cached versions):

  • With the script tag, look for the floating chat launcher in the corner you chose.
  • With the iframe embed (GoDaddy), scroll to the section where you placed it.

Click it, confirm your greeting appears, and ask a test question.

If it doesn’t appear

Work through these in order:

  1. Is the page published? The snippet has to be on a live, published page — not a draft or preview.
  2. Right method for your platform? GoDaddy needs the iframe embed, not the script tag. See Install on Shopify, Webflow, or GoDaddy.
  3. Is the chatbot on? In Settings, the Chatbot Status toggle must be on.
  4. Is your plan active? The chatbot only answers while your organization is on an active trial or subscription. If the plan has lapsed, the widget shows an upgrade message instead of answering.
  5. Any Content Security Policy? A strict CSP on your site blocks the widget script and frame, with a “violates the following Content Security Policy directive” error in the browser console. See Fix a Content Security Policy that blocks the widget.

Still stuck?

If the widget still won’t load after these checks, head to Security & Troubleshooting for deeper diagnostics.

Frequently asked questions.

How do I know Zurvo can see my widget?

Your Install page shows an install status indicator. Once your site has loaded the widget, it turns green with the site it detected and how recently it was seen. Until then it reads 'Not detected yet.'

The launcher isn't showing up. What now?

Confirm the snippet is on a published page (not just a draft), that you used the right method for your platform, that your chatbot is turned on in Settings, and that your plan is on an active trial or subscription. If it still doesn't appear, check for a Content Security Policy on your site that blocks embedded frames.
